Johnathan, yours looks way better this time around and much more appealing. I don't know what to vote to because I love them all! Especially Radien's, though. Can't wait to play it.. I'll decide later..

EDIT: Just noticed something in Johnathan's shot, this doesn't ruin the whole shot or anything, but why is there a non frosted cactus in a snowy area right in the middle of the screen? Is it some sort of rare breed of ice cacti? wtf?

I can't really vote, so I nulled, all of them are far too good and equal.

I like Johnathon's trees here better than the last shot.
I see alot of custom things in Phosphorescent's shot.
And I like, the boss, lava, and lava flares in Radien's shot.

EDIT: BTW Radien, isn't the Link sprite suppose to be only one frame when it's not moving?

Jon's shot has some pretty tiles in it, but in my opinion it doesn't come together quite as well as Radien's shot.

i put the cactus in the middle of a snow field for laughs
i found it wandering around and i thought id add sumthing out of place
whats more out of place in a winter wonderland than a cactus

Radien:ow nice lava the boss looks cool to,
the only bad thing i can say about this is the cave walls and the platforms
ive seen em before,or ones looking close to them it kinda looks like you added red dots

I think the cactus is a little TOO out of place, my friend.

I've gone with Raiden's. While I would like it if the status was shown above, the boss and the lava are reall eye-catching, especially to a pyromaniac such as myself. And look at that slick animation, and fire particles through the air.
Good one this round, Radien.

Definately Raiden's I love the flames coming up from the lava, and the level design is nice for a boss. This pic is almost flawless.The only thing I can see that could look a little cooler would be the monster's arms, they are kind of plain. Other than that. Great job. You got my vote by far.

Jonathan: SORRY. But I don't think as to whether or not things have not been seen before matters, it's how they're used. IMO, at least, I guess. I'm working on a gameboy game with OMEG. With the gameboy pallette, I guess I'll have to see everyone's reaction later.

it was 5:00am when i sent it in so mabye lack of sleep had something to do with the failure to notice the lack of shading

Not only would shadows be good, Jonathan, but so would snow up against the base of the trunk to make it look like it's rooted into the ground.
