Remember that improved classic tileset I had in the quest screenshot thread? Well, I decided to make a first quest remake using it. So I imported the graphics pack into example1st.qst and renamed it Revfirst.qst, fixed all of the graphical errors in the overworld and dungeons, and proceeded into the player to take screenies. I went into the cave to get the sword, then a thought came into my mind.

Enemies and Items...

Then, another thought immediately popped into my head.

F*** THIS!!!!

So yeah, I'm releasing it as incomplete due to my laziness, as I am definitely sure I will never finish it.

It requires 2.10 or higher. Have fun.

It's ... ... interesting, I think I can safely say. A small amount of "Pure style" tiles used in substitution with the normal, average classic tileset.

No, but that's a good idea (coloring in BigJoe's face).

I put in the gameboy tiles (and that BS tile) where I couldn't edit the classic tile to make it look good.

Boy, this first quest remake sure is more difficult than the original 1st quest. BTW, Revfan rearranged those enemies for some reason! icon_neutral.gif
UPDATE: Is there a cheat code for this quest?

Pokegamer: That's because I did it in 2.11 without realizing it (clicking that shortcut on my desktop out of habit) and I used "Save as 2.10", so it messed up the enemies.

Hey! You didn't change the swimming and slashing tiles in your update of the tileset. icon_unsettled.gif
And I see you picked up tiles from new1st. icon_confused.gif

A lot of those are placeholders (the newfirst sprites).
