So in default, these Link animations:

1. Second frame of slash animation

2. The single frame of stab animation (i.e. wand)

3. The single frame of boomerang throw animation

4. The single frame of arrow shot animation

5. The second frame of hammer pound animation

6. Placing down a bomb

and

1. Swimming but not moving

2. Moving while swimming

Each of these uses the same sprites. However, you can seemingly set each to have a different tile in the Link sprite editor.

Does this actually work, or will each entry in a group use the same tiles? For example, making Link's hammer pound animation different from the boomerang throw animation, and making him have separate sprites for swimming in motion and treading water.

I know that ZQuest has a knack for giving options that aren't programmed to work yet, so I'm making sure.

No, you would need to script custom animations, in 2.55. Not the hardest thing to do, given that you now have full control over Link's sprite, if you want it.

It's possible to script this stuff in 2.50.x, as well, but it's less intuitive.
