i don't want to start a deep discussion about objectivity and good vs. bad, what i mean is, what low-quality things do you enjoy? things that you would personally say are objectively bad or dumb but you enjoy them anyway.

 

for me it's master chef, it's just garbage reality tv with needless drama and gordon ramsey yelling, but i enjoy it anyway.

I’m not sure I really have any anymore.

I know in the past YuGiOh was a big one. I used to go to tournaments every week and even participated in a few regionals.

I used to like boy bands growing up. NSync, Backstreet Boys, Nickelback…

I really liked a lot of TeenNick shows and other dumb things like the animated Total Drama series.

The occasional slice of life anime.

Dark Souls 2. What a janky mess of a game. Every time I go back to it I find myself liking it a little more.

 

Also long running shounen manga. With every passing year I become more and more too old to be enjoying this kind of story, but I've fallen down the One Piece rabbit hole and fear I may never return.

Smoking ciggies and drinking. Things I consider to be quite useless, but enjoy them anyway. I remember that I was able to hang out and have fun without those. Especially smoking ciggies is useless to me, does nothing but satisfy a craving really. At least drinking can enhance a social situation.

 

Other than that I like to spend my time productively or watching/playing things I truly like and enjoy and do not find useless.
