As a developer, this is one of the most useful things I have seen come out in years.

Especially since I don't like my saves compromised by cheating or automation, this gives me a good field to go check a bug, especially if it's something wrong with a script, without a week or two every time

I wouldn't have had Demo Quest Collection out on 3/11/2022 if it wasn't for that lovely feature.  It might've been late March or later if I didn't have that, who knows with work and other things I have to do.

Open discussion.

It's an excellent feature. Really changed how I design. And speaking of it, I just submitted a simple script that starts the player with all items while in test play. Saves a little trouble navigating through the cheat menu every time.

It is also extremely helpful in multi-developer quests, as you can set up a small area for testing and then pass the quest along, with the screen set to the area.
