I'd say the same for Sheik, but honestly you switch tilesets and focuses so often that It's hard for me to stay hyped and believe any of your projects will be finished within the next two years.

Nah, it's not since I have a project in the works already. But should I create a quest in FYS again sometime in the late future, I'll be using this screen for sure. Just thought to show it off to bring some activity in here.

I am not really working towards finishing any projects, I work on them so long as I enjoy them and drop them once they don't entertain me anymore. For me it's more about the making than the finished thing. That's part of the reasons I typically make all my stuff publically available while still working on it. I know for sure that I don't have the time to finish any of the projects I started anyways with all my 'real life' projects. That's alright for me, though.

This is pretty much what I do too. Except, I don't focus as much on jaw dropping tiles.

Indeed. And damn nice shot! Can I just say though, that I personally don't like this subscreen? (from the colours, to the graphics, the empty heart, key icon and icons sticking out of the darker frame)

Thank you for the critique. The hearts will stay, but I was thinking of changing the subscreen myself. Something does seem off about it.

I'm liking the darker colors in this. Is it a custom palette? Looks like some kind of swamp dungeon, and the overworld tiles seems to blend well with the dungeon tiles. They dont feel like they were shoe-horned in. Good job Jared!

 

 

So I was experimenting a bit here and I tried editing some pre-existing tiles in PTUX to make logs for my forest. The second picture shows the screen without layer 3, so you can see the logs better. Let me know what you guys think of the palette too. Since Im colorblind it gets difficult to make custom colors on my own.
