Yup, I am blatantly stealing Russ's idea. Hope he doesn't mind.

Just like the Video Game Trivia, I'll ask questions about pop-culture music history(mostly rock) and you'll have to answer. We'll see if it gets somewhere. Let's start with something easy:

EDIT: Tell ya what, I'll give you hints. The "drastically changed" line-up called themselves "The New Yardbirds" for a while, before changing permanently to a band that is truly a household name.

Stairway is incorrect for the first question. I don't think it was ever even released on a single. And it was on Untitled Fourth.
