Due to hardware changes, and jank in the versioning, I have decided to reset the demo numbering and start numbering the 4-directional version, which will be the standard. Plus, Director's Cut seems too played out.

Hopefully at the end, there will be an 8-directional version made quickly with little jank.

4-directional Demo 1.0 hopefully out soon (the old 6.6)

UPDATE 4/3/2023 5:14 PM EDT

Due to the unfortunate weather across this country, RC 2 of 4-dir 1.0 won't be the final release candidate most likely of 1.0.  I'm going to release it sometime tomorrow after finishing the endgame test and we'll fully release when P-Tux is back on top of things or he authorizes a full delay.

Sorry for this.

RC 3 will most likely be the formal test now.

RC 2 is in the hands of testers.

It is on their time before a formal test is started.

RC 3 is stable and in the hands of testers.

We are doing last minute things and testing Alpha 113 to see if it's stable enough to upgrade.

See you soon!

Release Candidate 6 testing progress:

Waiting on a tester's report
After that, a tester will play the final (RC 7), and make sure nothing is bad and a yes/no for release.

Expected demo release date: PowerFest '94 Day (May 20th)

4-directional coming out as expected pending verification.

Unfortunately, the 8-directional demo start has been delayed to about June 15th..  Business reasons.  Something else has to get done on priority.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances in the video game world, the release date for James Quest Sidestory's Demo is being pushed back to Memorial Day.

It is not bug related.

Acts will be implemented instead of Levels now.

James Quest: Sidestory demo moved back to Memorial Day. Considering the horridness of Niantic, respect for Tears of the Kingdom, and our schedules, it was an easy developer's decision.

Levels will be changed over to acts for compensation.

Let's enjoy some Tears of the Kingdom tonight!

Final testing has been complete.  Acts are in, and a few other changes as well.

"Exam" test to see if it's worthy of release is happening now.
