I would want to have customizable heart beep threshold. 1 heart threshold, which works well in original Z1, oftentimes is not enough to prevent "surprise" deaths in late-game where 2-4 hearts in damage per hit is common thing. LttP did this well with heart beep threshold scaling with Link`s Max HP.

I find a relatively simple way to do this is just bump Link's HP up to above the threshold. Or scream at players to disable the freaking heart beep sound cuz aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. But the first one works more reliably.Also, what about an easy way to disable heart beep in cutscenes?
As far as customization for it goes, I know Zoria added options to change the timing of it via script, which is nice. For my part though, in my newest project, I just gutted the heart beep sound and rescripted it. At the end of the day, that's almost certainly gonna give you a finer level of control than whatever options are added for the built in sound.

As for ZC2.53, heart beep threshold is hardcoded at flat 1 heart.
