After I upgraded from an earlier version from July to the newest version (as of today) a scripted item I was using no longer moves. It is supposed to travel across the screen like an arrow but it just stops after I use it like when you plant a bomb.

....looking at the script again, the script doesn't appear to have anything to do with movement. So uh, it not moving has literally nothing to do with the script.

 

What's the item editor for the item look like? Importantly, what item type even is it?

Equipment Item is checked

 

Type: Custom Weapon 01

 

Level: 1

 

Power: 8 

 

Step Speed: 3

 

Constant Script is checked

 

Use Cost : 1 bomb

 

Weapon Type: Arrow

 

Script Loaded into "Weapon Script" slot

 

bombDamage set to 8

 

hurtsLink set to 1 

 

If I missed anything important let me know. I haven't changed anything involving the script or the item in the item editor. I just upgraded to the new version of ZC and the item stopped working properly.

Try changing the step speed to "300". I believe step speed was bugged previously. A speed of "300" is "3 pixels per frame".... so a speed of "3" is "0.03 pixels per frame"... which is only 1.8 pixels *per second*, very slow, almost not moving.
