Map Button Subscreen Script Slot

I informally requested this about a week and a half ago on Discord, but I figured that it would probably be a good idea to make a formal feature request thread for it, lol.

 

Anyways, it would be useful to have a subscreen script slot for the map button that behaves the same as the active subscreen script slot except it is activated by the map button instead of the start button.

I can't imagine what it is you are asking but,

I would just use One of the 4 extra Ex buttons to activate this new extra menu item, you are talking about.

No, there's a specific subscreen script slot that is part of 2.55. They are requesting similar for the map, which is an amazing idea; don't know when I'll get around to it, but, I do believe it's a worthwhile idea to implement.

That'd be great for the map button, but one might also want custom menu scripts for the L, R or the Ex buttons

THAT is not happening. You get Start and Map with custom-bindable scripts, but bindable (freezing) scripts for every button is far too much.
