Hello again. I've started working on my Quest's Dungeons and for one of them you get the Boomerang. For a puzzle I want the player to pickup a key from afar using said Boomerang. However, In the Rules you can only select to either have it pickup all items, or no items. I don't want that. So, I'd be cool if someone made an FFC that once placed on screen allowed the Boomerang to pick up everything. Thanks in Advance

I posted a script for <= 2.53.1 long ago to allow brangs to collect keys.

In >= 2.55, this is an item flag. Eventually I want to introduce CSV lists for what items you can collect with them.

Is this script not in the database? (If you are using 2.55, it is not needed.)

Just as a design note, I would be careful about inconsistently allowing an item to do something.  If I tried Boomeranging a key in another room and it didn't work, I wouldn't think to try it on this one - and on the other side, if I was able to pick up this one, I'd be a little annoyed if I couldn't pick up other ones.  This should apply to all keys in the quest if you're wanting to do this, IMO.

I want to do more of a "You can pickup keys, but not a Triforce Piece"

Yep, that makes sense and is how I'd approach this.

Note that the ffc at the end of the file is meant to be used with the combo graphic of a key, or a specific item. The demo ffc and global scripts in the middle of the file, after the core functions, re examples of how to do this with real items.
