Downloaded Big Joe's Triforce Knight yet?

For those of you who don't know/can't remember, Big Joe is the winner of the Official 5th Quest, and this has been a side project that he's been working on for years. Albeit in a different form. Over the last 12 months however, this demo has been cooked up, and I have to say on a personal level it's quite something! But only YOU can be the true judge of that!

 

I'm starting this topic as a help thread, so that if you have a question/need to report something, you can do it here.

I'm not sure if I've hyped the quest properly or if people just aren't playing it, but I'd like to point out that this demo should be satisfying enough to play through despite not being a complete quest. It culminates in a climactic custom boss fight that I put a great deal of effort into making. Anyone who feels like they would rather wait for the complete quest can be assured that there is a sense of completion from beating what is already there.

So I'm stuck. I've beaten level 1, got the 2nd sword, arrows (no bow,) and 5 hearts. Am I missing something and where?

The bow is in level 2. Have you made it there yet?

[/spoiler] You need to search Moblin woods for the solution to the desert maze. There is one screen there with more bushes than the rest... Burn baby burn! [/spoiler]

 

Damnit... I can never get that script to work...

Actually ended up stumbling through the desert maze on my own and got through Level 2. Found level 3.

Awesome, so you found the bow and the power glove then.

 

There's a trick to level 3...

Recently I've enjoyed this quest so much, and finally have beaten Ganon.

This is a very good and fantastic quest! 

 

But I couldn't find some items, and also couldn't enter some places.

Could anyone give me clues or advices? 

 

Items

- Emerald (One of the 3 jewels what the researcher looks for)

- Gold Ring

- Master Sword (or Sword Lv4)

- Double magic (I don't know if there is)

 

Places

- The gate with a key-hole, at the far-east of Cursed Mt.

- The dungeon at the far-east of the village, that requires Gold Ring

I don't know whether the emerald made it into the quest... it was in one of the bonus levels that didn't make the final cut. Maybe BigJoe can help on this?

 

The gold Ring is in Ganon's Pyramid.

 

The master sword is available once you've found the magic key.

 

I think you need the 3 gems for double magic... something I will get BigJoe to look into.

 

Places:

- You may not have found all the bonus levels for that monolith

- Explore level 9.

Thank you for your quick reply, and thank you too for making this really enjoyable quest!

Thanks to your advice, I could get Gold Ring (Tunic), Magic Key and Sword Lv4.

And I was able to enter the places where I could have not.

 

Now I'm still looking for Emerald ... (maybe in hot place...?)

And now I've got 31 fragments and 27 hcps, so I may find 9 fragments and 1 hcp ... is that correct?
