(Authors Note: It's been a long time since one of these topics. I made an announcement awhile back in my topic that I would be creating a new approach to video sharing in PureZC. From now on, this is how I'll be sharing videos on PureZC that I believe will satisfy everybody and make my job much easier.)
NJF Plays Hollow Forest
Genre: Survival Horror.
A 2017 Random Theme Contest Quest (Not Available in Database).
Designed by Moosh
Description:
This mini quest was featured in a random theme contest that was featured earlier this year. In this quest you play as a small child named Arvis who befriends a fairy named Alma in his quest to fight dark monsters to try to find the source of a rot that's been plaguing a forest and terrorizing a nearby village where Arvis grew up. Many have tried and failed to find the source of the rot that is turning woodland creatures into monsters and turning people insane. Despite this, Arvis approaches the forest as if being summoned by something within.
In this quest, you must learn to survive using very limited resources and a firm understanding of how threatening the darkness that surrounds you actually is. Using various techniques of light to repel the darkness, limited abilities and limited saves, you must race the time between each save as you progress through the dark chambers through and below the forest, for if you run out of time, you lose what progress you've made since your last save.
This style of gameplay has been mixed in the Zelda Classic community, but should be appreciated by any survival horror enthusiast. It is a very solid game for what it is, but I must admit I am unsure about the game's ending, but that's just me. I hope you enjoy my Lets Play of Hollow Forest by Moosh.
