The Moblin Fort looks heavily guarded... (right...)

All hail PrinceMSC! :D I guess he does deserve the "Prince" in his title. Gosh, such colors does that shot have! Voted here even though I'm in. (By the way, isn't it SotW 443 instead of 442?)  :P

EDIT: Forget it, it got fixed :P

All three look nice. I love the Moblin Fortress, it looks very unique for ZC.

... But DANG, that subscreen! It's gorgeous! The tree structure, red bushes, and overall nice atmosphere in PrinceMSC's shot are great, but ... Subscreen ...

So, wait, shouldn't we be judging SotW on the screen design, not the subscreen, which is basically irrelevant to the screen itself?

Myself, I'm a bit torn between Demonlink and Prince. Both as well designed screens. Prince's is probably prettier because "Ooh, shiny graphics!", but I try not to let custom tilework sway my vote too much.

I've always considered custom subscreens as a component of the shots. If someone designs a custom subscreen and puts a lot of work into it, it seems unfair not to include it as part of the shot. In all honesty, though, even without the subscreen I think my vote would be the same.

Demonlink's screen has action and dimension. It doesn't need to be the most graphical pretty; my eyes stay on screen longer with different imagination approaches to how to screen plays out. This just isn't there with PrinceMSC's cookiecutter but eye attractive screen.

And, I forgot to give credit to Evile  *sigh* That tileset should get finished :P

The windows in the treehouse are a very nice and unique touche, PMSC. I really like the idea of that.

Demonlink: Great shot all around, it gets my vote.

PrinceMSC: Nice shot (and fantastic subscreen), but I wonder about the darker blue pixels on the bridge  Why does it look different than the rest of the water?

Octorock: Also a very nice shot, no complaints, but it's hard to compete with Demonlink's screen.

Probably because water under bridges tends to be darker due to the shadow cast by the bridge. :P

Nice attention to detail there, Prince.

Prince's shot is another winner, but not by as great a margin as last time. Demonlink's shows promise with that nice Minish Cap style, and Octorockoncrack's is simple but has a natural feel about it.

Demonlink gets my vote this time around. Since we've already seen shots from PrinceMSC's tileset last week, the screen itself kinda seems a bit generic. Octorockoncrack's shot is nice, but a little empty.

Demonlink gets my vote.

Good turnout this week at absolute worst. I voted for MSC just because I love the style he's got going on. Demonlink's shot looks great and almost a little reminiscent of Beyond Oasis, especially in the color scheme. OoC's shot looks the most like something I'd like to play, though. Looks like a good, open, exploration-driven overworld.
