Aren't there three red darknuts total?   Or are there four?   One bomb hit per darknut, if you are patient and wait until they are positioned correctly, you could probably nail two with one bomb.

Yeah. I was doing that, I was hitting all 3 with the bombs. I hit them like 6-7 times each and they didn't go down.

Yeah, then something is very wrong.   I was just going one level above or below them, hitting them with a bomb blast placed on the blocks as they walk horizontally between them, and each hit would take one (or more if they were positioned correctly) out.

You have to drop a bomb in front of a darknut as it's walking into it. Otherwise it will take no damage. Originally I didn't even put extra bombs in there :P you can also do the dodongo trick where you instantly drop a bomb in front of a dodongo after the first and it will explode and always drop a bomb (pretty sure there's 2 in one of these rooms?)

I've had a lot of physical and mental health issues stifling me the past year, but I really want to finish the sequel. I don't know how many people who were active in this thread are still around, a few seem to have not been on in a long time which is a shame. Every complaint about not being able to return to areas after you beat them, everything was ironed out. You no longer have restriction, even if there's no point in going back to a place you've already beaten (however, usually there will be at least some secret item like a potion or some money).

Having it at 90% complete just needing to finish the last dungeon is a tough spot. I did have to update to 2.5 because I ran out of dmaps. It's more or less a 2.10 quest but I did add some custom enemies because honestly, given it's not puzzle heavy, it just gets repetitive having the same enemies and you can get so overpowered. Changed some sounds, too. So while the bulk of it was made in 2.10 (2 playable characters was a tricky thing to pull off but it worked out), the tweaks from 2.5 are ultimately what's made it much better. If any of you are out there, I'm sorry it's taken so damn long to get this done. I started it in July 2011, most of the work done from summer to fall of 2012, spring to summer 2013, then speedrunning ocarina of time took my attention instead. Some more work in the summer of 2014, brief work fall 2015, then nothing until 2020 and a bit early this year.

It may have been for the better considering I was in a rush to finish it that summer. God of Power was basically made in 2 months, I'd just pull all nighters, go to bed at 5, wake up, start building again. I think this is a good quest, but Revival of Link I really believe has the potential to be one of the best quests on this site. I put everything I had into it and I don't know if I'll ever build a quest again. If I do, it would likely be a more simplistic 8-bit zelda style.

I could use some bug testers, but I've played it so many times that there basically are none, minus some issue with conveyor floors clipping you through walls in a "fun house." I kept thinking I fixed it but I didn't lol. That's about it though, bug free, no game ending nonsense like God of Power had (which I did update to make it not game ending). I don't know what the hell I was thinking making Sarissa's big bomb sale essential. Say you didn't have 32 rupees, you leave and you can't even go back in. What was I thinking?? I was 15 around that time, I guess I liked the idea of it being unforgiving and otherwise would make one have to start from last save but still... that's just plain stupid. I'm amazed anyone didn't run into this problem. You do have to be careful with that big bomb though... I kind of like that

I missed this!  Very much looking forward to this one.  Really liked the first, so yeah.
