Entry: NoContest
By: Hugh Jasshol
Presentation:
Extraordinary news! I, Hugh Jasshol, have decided to grace this contest with my magnum opus: NoContest.qst. It is the best quest, without any contest. I spent a number of days that is greater than two working on this record breakingly massive quest. You will love it. Fight the monsters, collect the items from Zelda 1, explore a vast and mysterious world that I, Hugh Jasshol, have carefully crafted with my bare hands and sometimes feet. The quest is completed on locating and defeating Ganon and hitting the Quest Completion Button. Let me know if you encounter any bugs so that I might correct you on the bugs you have encountered. This quest has no bugs, it is a masterpiece. This is the Hugh Jasshol guarantee.

and of course, save the princess!
This classical adventure will undoubtedly be a new classic for the times to come,
complete with the classical gameplay you have come to expect from a classic zelda title;
full of classical items, enemies, bosses, and most importantly of all: adventure!

Those are the entries people, feel free to play them and enjoy what was made for contest. Now, obviously, since this is a contest there will be voting and a winner too! The voting period will be three weeks (till the 18th October) to give people plenty of time to sit down and play the entries, after which I will take the time to compile everyone's votes and announce the winner!
But how do you vote? That's simple, included in this very post is a form, and all you need to do is fill it in and post in this very thread. (or DM it to me if you're more into lurking than posting!) Now, these voting categories are all in some ways inspired by the entries from the contest which this one takes it's name sake from, however; they are very loose and up for interpretation as to how you personally view them! Don't think too hard and just fill in how you feel!
I will briefly introduce each voting category now:
Pancake Mountains: How stacked are the mountains?
Charm: How charming do you find the entry?
Labyrinthesque: How labyrinthine is the quest?
Classical: How classical is the entry?
Uniqueness: Does it break the mold?
Funny: Did you find the entry humorous?
Aesthetics: Pretty looking, flashy, good sounding, stuff like that!
Design & Difficulty: Aggregate what you think about the design and difficulty!
These categories go from 0 to 100 each, and will be added up to make up your total score for each entry! Further more, we have a few bonus categories which will not provide any score what-so-ever towards winning the contest, but it might be funny. In these ones, just fill in your quest of choice! (Bonus Categories does not need to be filled in).
Don't worry if you're an entrant to this very contest, you can still submit a rating for every entry if you want to keep up a facade. We will simply not count your vote for your own entry!
As for scoring themselves, we will add all votes together and then divide by number of votes, so each entry will get a fair shake against the other ones no matter how many or few ratings they get! (And I will be rating every entry at the least, so a score is guaranteed!)
Voting form can be found here: (just quote or copy and paste it to your post!)
I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who took the time to make and submitted an entry to this contest.
Even if two of these entries went a smidge over the deadline, I'd rather accept them than going forward with a contest that is won by default.
Now, that is all; Go on and enjoy these quests, and maybe take the time to rate them if you feel like it!
Voting Deadline: 18th October 23:00 GMT+1
