Orithan's is impressive, but also hard to read at a glance. Every time I look at the screen, I keep thinking the roads are pits. Minor annoyance, but it looks like you can't actually walk across the crosswalks to the other side without stepping on the road because there's solid objects in the way of the sidewalk corners. If it was easier to read, I feel like I'd be more likely to vote here.

I feel like both Taco and Jenny have good screenies, but I prefer the more simple elegance of Jenny's screenshot here. That cool tree outcropping in the bottom right is also really cool, I quite like that, and I like how the screen still maintains a sense of symmetry with the clouds on the other side.

Taco's is a cool sky screen, but I don't dig the palette; feels too yellowish compared to the sky blue background. I wonder how cool this screen would look with a sunset background instead of a blue background; it might synergize well with the yellowish palette a lot.

Voted for Jenny.

How would you make the roads *not* look like pits without adding too much noise? How would you suggest to fix the latter, cus I'm seeing literally no screen space to do this without compromising the feeling that this is a densely packed city?

I think it fine as is, but maybe a couple of grey pixels would do the trick.

Great shots all around, but I ended up voting for Jenny.

The present Labrynna palette continues to prove why it's the worst of the GB overworld palettes, even in its LCD colour state. Always thought it had too much yellow, especially in the normal variant.

I really liked Orithan's shot, but I admittedly didn't realize it was a road and not pits til Deedee pointed it out. With that said, I don't have a great solution to fixing it. You could try Shane's approach? I think it being solid black, even though roads is solid black, is hurting readability, especially as the edges of the sidewalk look like they're trailing off into a pit. Otherwise, I love it.

Regarding the others, they're both wonderful. Jenny's is nostalgic in a way that's hard to put my finger on, and Taco's is just all around wonderful. Great shots all around, really.

I feel like you can remove the streetposts on the corners without compromising the busy feel. I think pure black isn't the color you want for the roads; maybe a more dark grey color (or if you're already using dark grey, a less dark grey).
