On that note, my dad introduced me to ZC in 1999/ 2000. He didn't post on forums though. He was like, "Hey, I got the first Zelda on my computer and there's a really cool level editor." I went to the official site on my own, and showed him newfirst and the BS quest. He would have been 33 and I was 9 or 10 at the time, and Majora's Mask was about to drop, which is crazy to think about now.
Yeah, I was introduced to ZC in 2001 by a friend (I was 13). Didn't post on any forums, myself, until 2006 (when I joined AGN), but I used to play the old 1.90 quests, and tinker around with ZQ (never finished anything, cuz I'd always end up wanting to do something that ZC wasn't able to do, pre-2.50, and I'd get frustrated and quit the project; actually, my main project really is the culmination of all of those failed projects being adapted and evolved over the last 15 years, or so). It's crazy to think about how much of an impact ZC made on my childhood, considering I was already in my 20's when I joined Pure.
