I had an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how to do it. Basically, I want to make "friendly" monsters through the Enemy Editor by setting their touch damage to zero and setting them to ignore all of Link's weapons. However, I want them to look like they're helping Link fight an enemy.

Would this be as simple as just setting up a script like a normal custom enemy, but instead of firing EWeapons, it spawns LWeapons? I could set it to fire arrows set as an LWeapon, and it wouldn't harm Link if it hit him, but hurt enemies when it hit them? And since they're set to ignore Link's attacks, they won't shoot each other by accident?

I wanted to ask before I went with this approach, because I didn't want to go full-tilt at this, get angry it wasn't working, and find out that my approach was flawed from the beginning.

--- Edit ---

CRAP!!! I'm sorry, this ended up in the Script Requests somehow instead of Script Discussion. I wouldn't mind if somebody made this for me, but could somebody move it to the other board for me?

Haha, that sounds interesting ...  I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Done.

This would be pretty easy. You could script an enemy to fire lweapons, or you could right an FFC script that detects a certain type of eweapon, then instantly gets rid of it and replaces it with an lweapon. Either way work work.
