Recently decided I'd like to start up a new public ZC server, and today I'm officially announcing it.

The server is known as ZC Land. With this server, I hope to provide a comfy, fun and inclusive community server that's open to all!

 

Of course, we'll be have our own community activities such as:
- Quest Contests

- Project Expos
- ZC or game screenshares
- Game servers (stuff like Minecraft or Terraria)

 

For anyone interested, our rules and invite link are as follows:

 

- Rules -

- Treat other members with respect and avoid airing out drama in public. Unless there is a clear person at fault, staff will ask that you keep disputes out of the server.

- Avoid controversial topics that could result in heated discussion (Politics).

- This is an inclusive server. Any sort of bigotry will not be tolerated.

- Try to keep discussions safe for work. This applies to images and videos too.

- Try to keep self promo in #self-promotion 

- Don't spam excessively.

I agree! Airing stuff out in public like that tends to not end well for anyone involved. 

 

That's why I'm making an effort to move on from that sort of thing, for the good of everyone. Myself included.

I'm wishing everyone very much success in their endeavors!  I'm hoping it can breathe new life into the ZC community somehow.  I know that this is a metaphorical song and dance that's been done to death by now - Little offshoot communities pop up with the same ol' people over and over and over again, offering very similar things to each other, with Venn Diagrams of related content whose unique aspects are mere slivers compared to the larger circles... and then they die off and another starts up again.  What else is left to try at this point? 

 

Let us know when the Terraria server pops up, please.  Those are always fun.

Is everyone given a clean slate if they want to join? I understand I did something on Z-Zone that was a bit concerning, but something that was quite scary had just happened to me, and I wasn't thinking straight. Am I welcome to join?

Anyone is welcome to join so long as they don't consistently cause problems or create a negative atmosphere.

As long as people's values match what we want to accomplish with this community, all should be good.

Quickly wanna say thank you to everyone who's joined the server thus far. We've reached 50 members and having everyone here has been awesome!
