I would like a script that when you step on an ice tile, you slide forward until you come in contact with either a solid or a non-ice tile, which I hope this would make an interesting maze..., and it would be great if link couldn't perform any actions whilst sliding about...
If anyone can make this I will forever be grateful...

If I may say, just given my experience with other language, it should just be a simple walk procedure with a line that initiates the procedure to happen again after all the other functions of the procedure are done.
