That was the most legit game I've ever played that tried to be something like Link's Awakening. Can't wait to see the 2nd dungeon. Any progress on this?

Thanks guys.
Actually from the submission of the demo till now I have been working mostly on the script system, rewriting and fixing stuff.
The structure of the second dungeon is anyway already there from quite a while:
I only need to fix a couple of scripts needed there, to find a challenging final boss, and to develop a decent pre-dungeon quest.

So stay tuned!

Also, I would like to hear comments about the magic instruments system.
I mean: if you noticed it, the magic harp, found at the end of the first dungeon, is actually an equipment item, used to warp to known locations around the overworld.
I would like also the other 3 instruments to have some game functionality, but I'm not yet sure what these functionality can be...
Some ideas I have:
- dry water: revealing some secret combos under the river / lake or open the way even before having flippers
- rise the dead: in some screens there can be some grave / dead creatures Link can rise (like the flying rooster in LA)
- show invisible stuff...
Any suggestion?

Hey Zepinho, long time since this thread was active. Has there been any progress? I like the ideas of showing invisible stuff and rising the dead, you should keep them. icon_smile.gif

Hey Zepinho, been a long time buddy! I was just wondering if there has been any progress made on this? It's been a long time since we last spoke. But i'm sure you're busy with life and such so I understand. icon_wink.gif

Hello everybody.
After so long time without any updates, I'm glad to let you know that this quest project is still alive and it's developing quite nicely.

I spent quite some time re-writing some of the scripts and adding scripted items, enemies and bosses.

Here are some screenshots of the pre-level 2 and of level 2 it's self:

Yeah, like Fizz said: Looks pretty legit. Can't say I'm exactly fond of your screendesign and whatnot but the gameplay seems to make up for it. Well done!

I hadn't seen these new screens! Amazing, dude!
The construction of your maps is so cool! I'm horrible to create puzzles, so my maps are very obvious -_-
Congratulations again for the incredible work!
