I'm still hoping I can get it. Seeing how the summer sale is gonna be a thing, I'm gonna need to try and get enough money to get this game. Or I could simply just bribe my dad to buy the game for me (but then he will be stuck onto the game and won't let me play it, just like with MM3D :P)

It's now half-off for the next 22 hours.

Also it has speedruns, and is broken wide open to the point there's a two-minute speedrun. Just like real Zelda games! :tard:

I'm gonna bump this because it's part of the current Humble Bundle, meaning if you want it but don't have it, you have the opportunity to get it for pretty darn cheap. I still recommend it, it should satisfy some of your need for a new Zelda-like game until the next big one comes out.

Oh my god!! I'm so pumped!! I loved the first, I can't wait for this one to release! Here's hoping they release it on the iPhone again.

Also the original game's coming to PS4 and XB1 September 7th. That's pretty awesome.

I have no clue what systems the sequel's coming to yet though.

So the first was like WW, and this is like SS?

I would say the first plays more like a hybrid of Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. We're not entirely sure how the new one will play out but it does look very similar to Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild visually. I take it it will play more like Twilight Princess or Wind Waker rather than a hybrid like the first.

Hoping the bosses don't suck in this game. That's the only problem I had with the first.

They've said it's more of their answer to action-RPGs like recent Final Fantasies and Xenoblade. Of course, I don't doubt it'll still have solid action-adventure gameplay as its core.

Also I'm not really sure if I'd call Xenoblade an action-RPG...

They've finally showed off some more gameplay and such from the sequel and it looks like a pretty major step up from the first game. True, it still has some of the original's awkwardness in animations and other minor things (the spinning the camera all the way around when opening a chest will always be silly), but the environments look gorgeous and the gameplay looks quite fun. I'm looking forward to this.

Is this discussion of the sequel? Shouldn't that be split off in to its own topic? As for the original game, it's still getting technical updates albeit infrequently.
