[Epsalon ZX]

You can trap yourself in the map room block puzzle of the Frozen Palace. 
Much fun so far. Found the L3 sword before the L2. Still no blue ring.

Is there a point to that last key after the dungeon is thawed?

Not sure what you mean. I looked and there appears to be as many keys as there are locks, and I can't find any way to skip any locks.

Wait, nvm. I meant to put a rupee in the lava room instead of a key. You were supposed to use the ladder to get the key on the ice. Not sure how that happened.

Did you fix the block puzzle in the map room?

Edit: Managed to trap myself in the Skylands block puzzle too, with the pols voices...two ladder tiles...and the exit in each direction.

Just to confirm your earlier question -- yes I used the fire boomerang trick to beat mirrrobes both in Level 8 and in Dan's Labrynth.   With only 3 hits required it wasn't bad at all.   The only time I used the mirror shield (and think it may have been required) was in L9 where I had to reflect a fireball to advance.   Looks like you may have fixed that now.  

 

I'll also be sure to check out the other bonus dungeon.

interesting so far, I am stuck on lvl6, You need a key to access the dungeon. I heard you need superbombs or something at the top of the pyramid staircase. But I cannot find those either, So Now totally stuck.

You have to super bomb the rock that's north of the maze path.

The super bombs are to the left of the area you use it, there's a screen that has a patch of flowers shaped like a music note, use the whistle there and the shop will open up to sell super bombs.

Why doesn´t the hookshot work here ? - what am I missing ?

There is something you have to do to that block first to turn it into a hookshot block.

This game is a huge, creative  blast, and I've had more fun with it than with many others in a long time! I finished level 8 and was told to go back to Hyrule Castle, but nothing happens to get me to Level 9. What should I do, please?

If you have the entire triforce and go to the room on the left after you enter the castle it should trigger a conversation that will steer you to what happens next.   You'll need the lens for the next part as well.   Hopefully you got it.
