Your Quest 744 is my favorite quest on the database, looking forward to this one!

The edit on the dungeon doors looks especially good. Nice idea!

For those who wish to hunt for bugs or make any kind of suggestion, I've a new release here. Once you get a sword upgrade, the quest is over, but --

 

First, read this changelog:

 

- New Moblin sprites

- New Zol sprites

- New minidungeon, the Hero's Shrine, for getting the Master Sword, instead of just plucking it easily off a pedestal

- Tweaked forest palettes (also gives a hint as to the origin of the enemies infesting the Hero's Shrine)

- When in a safe zone in a dark environment, Link now becomes sparkly

- Pendant 3 boss room tweaked

- Item drop rates are significantly less forgiving

- Minor graphical changes

- Dungeon palette changes to doors

- Dungeon walls smoothed in preparation for a redraw

If I get un-lazy, I might give it a shot later. If I do, I'll report any bugs/issues I find.

I've updated the build with some bug fixes and a couple new secrets, as well as adding an enhanced boss theme for boss fights.

Playing it

oops seems that i miss the Bosskey but i found my way to the boos door.

Which build to you recommend to use? 2.50 or the newest one?

It's been built in 2.50.2.

 

judasrising, check the basement floor for the boss key!

 

I plan on moving the master sword out of its current location into a separate room with no music so that the jingle for it can be heard properly.
