Shadow, I have no idea what's going on.  I'm using the latest 2.53 release.   I'm testing out of love for this quest and you know I'd never mess with ya.   Perhaps somehow my save file has become corrputed due to me replacing the .qst file so many times?  Anyway, here's the weird shit happening now:

When I walk down there and turn around to walk back my progress is invisibly stopped here.  Lens reveals nothing.

QGjF7WR.png

Ladder now activates, but Link still won't walk on the invisible platform.

xyN0sQJ.png

Also, harmless, but Link walks into the wall here.  Don't think it happened before the last update but maybe it did.

caCAf53.png

Again, no clue why or how any of this is happening, or why it might be working on your end.  All I can think of is something has somehow become corrupted, but my knowledge of the inner workings of ZC is below yours by a factor of a million.

Edit:  Left, re-entered, saved, and now the wall bug and the unable to return bug are gone, but the inability to step on the platforms remains.  But do I need to step on that floor tile first?   Cause I've never figured out how to get to that part of the dungeon with yellow down and blue up.  Is the problem entirely on my end?

Edit2:  I owe you a major, major apology.  I assumed the platforms were there and just hidden like others in the level.  I needed to activate the floor tile and hadn't.  There was a whole part of the level I hadn't cracked.  I just did.   I am a bleeping moron.  The problem was entirely on my end.

OH!  I understand what was happening.  You were showing me how the Lens of Truth was showing you platforms that weren't there, and you thought that they were invisible, and not just triggerable in the future by stepping on that star-shaped plate.   Wow, that's ironic.  I mean... heh...  I totally get where you were coming from.  The irony is that the Lens is supposed to show us the true nature of things, but...

1)  The actual state of the star-plate / button was juuuust out of reach of our view due to the Lens's black void blocking it, so I couldn't have known it hadn't been pressed yet.

2)  The way ZC works with secrets is a bit odd.  It reveals whatever is on the secret flags to you, but it only stays all "Lens-of-truth-mysterious" if the secrets aren't actually triggered.  If the secrets are indeed triggered, then whatever the Lens shows you becomes reality.   It's like that invisible path in the Elf Cave, where the secrets were never triggered (There's no secrets to trigger.) but it still shows you the hidden path,  versus using the lens to show you what secrets there are to trigger.

Whew.  Zelda Classic, huh.

Again, my apologies.  Right as I was ready to tear my hair out it came to me what must be happening.   There are a couple other secret walkways in the level that aren't triggered.   I had missed a tile days ago in the northwest part of the level that lowered a red block and broke open the whole first floor for me.

ITcdebW.png

Lordy, lordy, would ya look at that.   Onto the endgame where I promise to only report legitimate bugs.

So this is an honest to goodness bug.   When you bomb the left wall in the room before, go through and get the HCP, you can't go back the way you came and you have to F6-continue.

Is this block puzzle solveable or a troll job?

Ah, that's a real bug, yes. Thanks for that. I fixed it by making the bombable wall on that screenshotted screen a regular open door. Because I had to make the room an Interior style screen so it'd keep its secret state (Ugh) the bombable nature wouldn't hold, and it'd revert to an unbombed staste upon re-entry, which means you'd get stuck in the wall.

Fix.

As for that second screenshot, remember those puzzles in Enigma where you had to hammer a block to break it? Do that there too.

Ah.  You'd think I'd remember to try something that worked earlier.   That's what I get for playing the game over three months.  Roger that and thanks.

And after most of the summer, there it is!

Corrputed Deku Tree now seems to work almost perfectly.  The switch in this room should say "E" but it says "S"

0DzVeir.png

When you save in the final, final dungeon you continue in a blue void.   You can walk south out of it, but still.  If you F6-continue in the room to the south with the link statute you start in the upper left corner and must revert to your last save.

V7gTKQn.png

Also, thanks for the inclusion in the credits!  For the record, FerentzRocks was an old name, but I hated it and thought a nickname based on a college football coach was really stupid even though I like him.  SofaKing in hindsight is a dumb name too.  Eventually I might pick a name I don't regret and think is terrible.

I think this is my all-time favorite quest -- just a perfect mix of difficulty, secrets, puzzle solving, and massive size but playable in digestible segments.  It never holds your hand (at all) but the answers are there if you pay attention.  There are very few places where the difficulty feels artificial or unfair.  I had to look up a few things early and late and went through a big chunk in the middle where I looked up hardly anything.  Usually when I did ask for help or find the answer in the thread I facepalmed and realized I could have done it myself had I just paid a bit more attention and been a bit more patient/stubborn.   I will replay in the future for sure if/when you add some more content and I will help test future iterations.  C-Dawg is a brilliant questmaker and you have brought his vision to another level still with bugfixes, quality of life enhancements, difficulty balancing and new and interesting content.

Congratulations! That's spectacular!

That's pretty darn creepy. I literally spent actual weeks fixing it. It's a massive relief. Tremendous thanks to Ranagus for those scripts that made the directional traps work.

The switch in this room should say "E" but it says "S"

Gotcha; an easy fix. Just graphical. I thank thee muchly.

I just keep forgetting to set the arrival coordinates for save rooms but that's an easy fix too. Thanks again.

You can always ask the admins to change it for you.

Thank you! Q9SQE7D.png That's quite an honor you've given.

If you think DoY is good, try Sabotage Dragoon by C-Dawg. It's not even close to complete, and won't be any time soon, nor will I be taking it over except to fix obvious bugs, maybe. He wants to finish it one day, but that won't be any time soon.

See you next quest!

There's a few keys on the Dam.

F-1
Left-most room. Slash all the pots. It's on the left side of the room.
Right-most room. Hit the lever, then move blocks until you can get the key. You actually get to this room from the room above with the Aquamentus on the right, on F-2.

F-2
With the water up, middle-bottom room. you can walk across the block and walk right up to the chest now.

The only part of the image we need is his part, FYI:

Fixed the walkability bug. Thanks!

From there, walk along the bottom half of the screen. You can't move around in the space where there's a message from a "Guy" so the original game has the warp triggers on the bottom of the screen, away from the message. Once you've found the hidden spot where the large Tektite lies, just walk around near the bottom.
