Voted for Mr. Evan the Great.

CastChaos: Very confusing. You overused the color blue on your screen.

Darkspawn: Nice rips but add some gameplay. And please don't be cheap and submit ZQuest Shots.

Evan the Great: Very great overworld shot. Flawless. icon_smile.gif

Majora: There's something very weird about your shot. Take a look. I submitted this an SotW 162.

IPB Image

I hope you're not stealing my ideas icon_razz.gif.

TriMaster001: Of course I don't vote for myself. icon_razz.gif I decided to take Sharon Daniel's Dungeon tiles for a little test run. icon_slycool.gif

WindStrike: Too overdetailed. That's what I hate about the DOR Set.

I voted for Trimaster. It's a fantastic dungeon shot that left me drooling.

I almost voted for Evan the Great but I love great dungeon shots too much.

Dang, Sharon, even when you're not in SotW, you still are.

Yeah... I guess. Majora's using one of my sprites too. icon_naughty.gif

Almost makes me want to start submitting stuff to this site again...

I had to vote WindStrike. I went "wow" as soon as I saw it.

Evan comes second.

I notice a mountain tile error where the back of the grass on the right side meets the mountain, but I think that's the fault of the tileset.

The only problem I had with using the minor grass transition tile is that the lower black line cuts through the mountain. I suppose I could have done a bit of editing... but I don't need to be THAT picky, do I? Also, that cliff is actually cheated, but I couldn't find a way around it.

QUOTE
Go easy with the transparent layers. Both are too blurry and for CastChaos, the screen layout really isn't too great..

Tis MUCH easier to see in fullscreen... probably the same with CastChaos'.

QUOTE
What is that path that pierces into the grass? It's good for wooden road, but very bad, boxy for dirt.

Tis not a dirt - brick road. Yeah, kinda sucks right now. Still need a replacement.

You can pretty much do the same thing in PTUX or some other heavy graphical set.

Had I voted (nulled since I'm in), I probably woulda picked Evan the Great's shot, because that is a fantastic winter shot. Great work!

The tiles in PTUX aren't as gaudy though. O:

What I'm saying is that in DOR an overdetailed shot would lead me to confusion. It's hard to exlore an overdetailed DOR overworld unlike Pure.

And I'm not even using the updated version of DoR! O_o
Yeah, I suppose so. Well, I suppose it might let people stare at the screen, which is much better in fullscreen, and let them view it for their own pleasure or whatever. I dunno - I'm actually having a problem regarding using the same detailing over and over, which is something I'd rather not do. Blargh...

The updated DoR was released already?

Anyways, I voted for WindStrike, he has the most detailed screenshot this week.

No, but WindStrike is in cahoots with Radien on it. icon_razz.gif Anyway, when's that coming out? You know, Wind?

I don't have a clue. Still waiting on feedback from my latest update on the DoR Cliff tutorial... and actually, I do have SOME access to the updated version... though, seeing as I don't have enough, I'm not actually gonna use it - nor am I intending on sharing it. I think Sephiroth has the most access to it actually...

Thanks for all the comments guys - kinda a boost of happiness afore I head into my doomed first day of school tomorrow.

... god I need to figure out how to fix that cliff so that the transparent water doesn't look so odd at its angle against it. Darn cliffs and their complexities! o_o At least they're really nice...

I went with TriMaster on this one. The shot actually reminded me a lot of TP (which i haven't player in a while...gotta do that...).

Wow! Trimaster and Windstrike are making some come backs! Evan isn't up by too much now.

Those two mentioned above were my two favorites out of this week. Those pots next to the locked door make me wonder what's in there in Trimaster's shot. Windstrike's looks very immersive. The transparent layers work well with this one.
