Shouldn't be hard to do that, just google Visual Boy Advance and it should come up with something. It took me about 10 minutes to find and download it...and I'm on dial-up.

The part of the mountains circled with red is what looks funny, the fact that it's larger than the part circled in blue throws the perspective off. The yellow is fine, I just felt like putting it there.
Those northern mountain tiles were what always seemed weird about MC.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm not really talking about tile height, more pixel height.

Yup, You can't never question how nintendo makes their games.
Btw, we're taking their graphics to begin with.

I think that the tiles look fine, it's just that they are perhaps in a different perspective than say, the DoR mountains.

And, I really don't mind too much, but to tell the truth...the MC mountains have a literally impossible perspective. icon_deformed.gif

I personally don't care for the Minish Cap mountains, but as you said Evile, you're making this set based on what you like. I like the rest of the tileset, though, and agree that the LttP water needs a change. You could use MC water, providing you can rip it, or go back to the Hyrule Fantasy style BS water- either would be good. Every thing else is great- I'll be sure to download it, even if it's just to have another rip tileset.

Oh yeah, you should ask Freedom for his MC mountain edits (really heavy edits). They look more like stone, instead of the way the MC mountains look like dirt. (Not saying that you should replace one with the other, just that it would be nice to have both.)

But then again, maybe you just want one?

No, Both Oracles and Minish cap games were developed by Flagship and Capcom while still being published and owned by nintendo.

I agree with russ and blaman , the minish cap mountains looks fine to me really.
it was like that in the original game to begin with right?

as for the LTTP water, yeah that needs to go.
that dark blue minish cap water will look excellent with this tileset.
matches the contrast this tileset has anyways.

Well progress on this in the last while has been 0. I've been super busy with work and friends and stuff I just haven't had time. Hopefully I'll get something done soon, I'm not sure though, haven't had much interest in ZC as of late. Been more into music and stuff...

Ok so I finally decided to post here. I think I figured out why I stopped working on this for a while. The palette structure I chose to use was a pain in the ass and I would have had to 8-bit everything, which is stupid imo. So I came up with a new one that seems pretty damn functional. I have a shot of the original one I was using and the new one I just came up with. I deleted the stupid one so I have no idea what it looked like.

Yeah I was thinking red would be a perfect addition. I can use it for tons of stuff like houses and things.

Small update:
I edited the Simplified LttP mountains to have grass along the bottom and I'm mostly just working on mountain tiles right now.

I want to know which other mountain tiles I should add in? I have the MC ones and the LttP ones so far.

Also, yellow sand or brown?
