Eddy's SS is the only one I found to be worthy of my vote this week. Good try for the others, though... they weren't so bad.

This weeks a classic.
I voted Joel, with Eddy and ZeldaPlayer equally close second. All great shots this week.

joelmacool12 - Joel, it's a cool screenshot. Very nice work within the limitations of classic. While not the most interesting screen, as expected for most overworld screens, the design is of very sound quality.
EddytheOliveira - And a great effort from the older brother too! Are those street lights and power lines? They don't look all that fitting with the rest of the graphics, but I am guessing you didn't have something good enough to find for its equivalent, thus your own custom drawn graphics? I at least like the concept and you trying something risky, though. Custom graphics are certainly a process, and these are no exception.
ZeldaPlayer - I'll admit that I am confused about this. Is that a bridge, a dock, or a road in the middle? Moreover, I'm not sure what to make of those white mountains overlapping the green ones. I also see a shadow effect, but it feels awkward. Shouldn't they just be on one side of everything? Not your best, as you said, but certainly an idea to not reject, and thus something to continue to work on as long as you have the motivation to do so.
It was a tough choice for me between the two brothers. Joel's wins on the technicalities of screen design, while Eddy's wins on creativity. Ultimately, the technicalities had a slight edge for me this time, so I voted for Joel, even though creativity tends to be the stronger factor for me more often. The risk was with the awkward custom graphics, so that is often a matter of how well it's executed.

Don't feel bad. These contests shouldn't be taken too seriously. With experience and determination, you will only get better.

Yes, they are street lights and power lines, all custom made. In fact, I tried to draw them almost as accurate as the street lights they have in Portugal in small villages like this, so yeah, #realismyo. Thanks for the comment btw
(also, wait until Joel finds out he's winning Screenshot of the Week, he'll be happy )

Why the destructive criticism (if you can even call it criticism at all)? No reason whatsoever? Nothing? Okay then.

Vote Joel since minus the docks "rotate those things" his screen design is quite similar to my own Quest.

I really like the screen design with Joel's screen. Great job.
