I'm having a bizarre set of problems with ZC. ZQ is fine. This hasn't always been this way, even on my new Win8 machine.

1. If I start ZC from ZCManager (in standalone mode), it will try to open fullscreen, and toggle between a full-screen window (?!) and being invisible and never start the quest.

2. If I start ZC from ZLaunch, it will start in 2x resolution with default keys and the MIDI patch bug fix disabled. Manually editing ag.cfg does not help.

I'm using the latest version of ZC (2.50.1).

Sounds like it's not allowed to access some files for some reason. Antivirus sandboxing, perhaps? Or maybe you need to run as an administrator? That's all I can come up with.

I tried setting the "Run as administrator" flag, but now while ZC can open fine from Windows Explorer, both ZCManager and ZLaunch say they can't open it.

What the hell, Windows... :P
You could run those as admin, too, I suppose... It would be nice to know why it's having trouble in the first place, though. I would guess the security settings for the folder don't allow you full access, but then ZQuest shouldn't work, either.

Running ZL/ZCM as admin fixed both. Thanks!
