My own attempt at recoloring those sprites for the giant skulltula. Had to use 8-bit becuase there weren't enough colors otherwise.

I don't really like the results, but it's the best I've been able to come up with.

I'd do Tingle, if it wasn't such a joke.

I fully support making Tingle a hidden superboss.

Because I hate those other giant skulltula sprites, I found another set and did a new version.

The before picture is two posts up. I think these are better, honestly.

I definitely like the new sprites better.

So how about that Tingle Superboss tho? :P

Me too. Sprites are my nemesis. After arrays.

As for a possible Tingle superboss, the only thing ruling it out would be the same lack of good sprites. And some ideas of how he'd fight. Maybe most of the time float around, dropping projectiles on you only to occasionally descend to dance around where you could hurt him? (Yes, I've put more than 2 seconds of thought into this.)

I'll probably work up the script for that giant skulltula tomorrow, right after I rework another boss I've agreed to do for someone else's project. Once I've got it done, I'll be one step closer to releasing the latest version of Passage Through Time. Here's hoping my changes didn't create too many bugs...

I agree, 50 is a bit much, don't you think?

I finalized the earlier list of bosses for Destiny of the Oracles and put them in the right order. Now for the mini-bosses.

Here's what I have so far. Labrynna is done, but the Mirror World definitely needs some work.

These are also in the intended order.

Labrynna

1. Keaton
2. Doom Knocker (Zelda II)
3. Lizalfos
4. Genie (Link's Awakening)
5. King Moblin
6. Koloktos
7. Evil Eagle
8. Giant Beamos

Mirror World

1. Ricky
2. Beedle
3. Dimitri
4. Moosh
5. Guru-Guru
6. Vasu
7. Dampe
8. King of Hyrule

In addition to these, I'm also going back to my already released game, Balance of Nature; and adding in scripted bosses. Here's the ones I have decided to do so far.

Bosses Done-

Onox (Dark Dragon)
Facade

Bosses to Do-

Mothula
Darknut Prince
Phantom Ganon
Arrghus
Giant Trap
Frypolar
normal Onox

I also need a replacement for the boss which was originally an invisible Aquamentus x 3. Any ideas would be helpful.

Alright! Finally decided on all minibosses for this. The order is corrected in the above post.

Now to get back to actually working on it for once; since I've been putting it off forever due to various things like trouble finding tiles to use for areas or how I wanted them to be set up.

Could this be what finally gets me back into making this quest again? Who knows? This quest has had the most haphazard development cycle of anything that I've created over the last year and a half; with spurts of creativity followed by long droughts of nothing. I'm nowhere near ready to give up on it, but yeah... it hasn't been easy.
