I've been working on your sprite. So far, I haven't found a good way to have those locks hanging down like in your avatar, but I found a hairstyle that I think will otherwise do well: from Final Fantasy 5 (where I got the NPCs for some of the other cameo characters as well) I found Mid, the son of Cid. However, I can't see what kind of clothes your avatar has on (other than the shirt, of course), so I hope the coat will do. Or, I could do it without the coat if you want.

 

Anyway, here's your current sprite:

(I added a tan background so you can see the black outline.)

 

If you'd prefer it w/out the coat, let me know what you'd like to wear instead.

@ZoriaRPG: Right now, I have an extra house (a big one at that) in southeast Traveler Town that is not occupied. If you wanted to have a few characters in one or more rooms of that house, that would be fine with me.

 

@Everyone: FYI, this does not mean that all slots are full. I still have room to expand the town from 3x6 screens (current size) to 4x6 screens if I need to.

Hmm, I never got anything from ZoriaRPG, so I guess his will have to wait for the DX version to add any characters.

Thanks to everyone who participated here.  I have quite a large cast of cameo characters in my quest now, giving quite the diversity to the population of Lost Traveler Town, not to mention the few characters that are located elsewhere in the quest.

 

I just went through and updated everyone's nickname on my in-game list.  It's located in a book in the library of Lost Traveler Town.  To find it and read it, you have to return to the entrance screen after exploring the library and the old lady at the front desk will have moved (and is playing a game on the computer off to the side of the room ).  You will see a book on the back desk.  Approach it from beneath it (where the old lady was) and you will be asked if you want to read the book (just in case you found it by accident and didn't want to go through the whole list of names).

 

Speaking of which, if you look over the list and see someone I missed who has an updated nickname, let me know.
