After all this time, Omega may be going into it's final Beta.

All planned content is done. All the overworlds, dungeons, bonus content, over 250 Extra Weapons, a bunch of options for the randomization, and several quality of life updates.

To be more specific, this Beta adds a Boss Rush to the bonus content. It adds about 20 more Extra Weapons, including some special Hammers, Hookshot, and Boomerang. A new option lets you shuffle individual dungeons instead of full sets, meaning you have no idea which dungeon will appear where, and can't tell from others found in a world. Item pickup strings are added, and you can toggle between a string with a full description or just displaying the item name briefly. The subscreens for picking Extra Weapons have seen some additions as well.

All that remains on my end is a full length test in 2.53. If any other bugs come up, I can fix them.

Speaking of 2.53, up to this point this quest has been compiled and saved in 2.50, but tested up to 2.52. If there are no concerns, I may end up saving the final release in 2.52 (or 2.53 if it stays stable) and labeling the recommended version as such.

Anyway, thanks for waiting so long for this, and thanks for the feedback and testing that has helped shape it this far.

I'm still in the middle of a play from the last beta. Can I update it? or will I need to start over?

I love the New setting of Shuffle Individual Dungeons meaning any level dungeons in Light world (Meaning you can possibly get All Sets in an Overworld)

About halfway in, no bugs to report yet. There was what looked like a typo for the golden candle, but nothing else to point out as of yet. The descriptions for the items are pretty funny, can see you put in the time to make some references to other things and other cheeky comments.

Finished up for the most part, no bugs to be seen. Wonderful work Hero!

You really did a wonderful job with Omega. No idea what your plans for the future are but I'm looking forward to whatever your next project is and this will be a good holdover until then along with LPW and Mirage Island.

So far, there is only one thing I am considering changing. In Level 8 Acorn, one room has skulls that mark it as a trap. However, it isn't a dead end, as the door to the right is not a one-way shutter and may even make the adjacent X block room easier to navigate. To maybe cause less confusion, I could remove the skull markings. But on the other hand, all other doors are one-way, and the stairs are one-way to go back to earlier in the dungeon (to get around a different one-way door room). Plus, you need Bracelet 2 for the X block room. So it sort-of is a trap room. Thoughts?

So far, it is playing fine in 2.53. When my test run is done, I'll see if any serious bugs has come up. Otherwise, the release will likely be early June (just due to how long a full 16 dungeon set run takes).

Just finished a run with the full set of 16 dungeons.

The only bug I found is that the reward for the Chaos Corridor was referred to in-game as the "Choas Ring, with the power of Choas".  Or maybe it's a reference I don't get.

I found 598 items; I'm wondering if that's all; I'm very, very suspicious that I missed two there, despite having no apparent open slots or items obviously missing an upgrade.

Nobody asked for all my maps, compasses and boss keys either...

That is the highest possible item count, determined by having options where 108 Heart Pieces appear, you have 4 Overworlds, and don't remove the Magic Key (I think that's everything that could change the item total). Despite given what said count was, I had no more items to add.

Anyway, the only things added since this last beta are a few things to make finding Ganon's Tower easier, and a fix where Cross Beams Scroll was not properly placed in Swordless. I can also confirm this plays fine in 2.53.

So... that's it then. I do plan to return to this to make a special 2.55 edition that uses features introduced in the newest ZC versions, but only when those become stable and have a release candidate. I appreciate the feedback and patience on this huge project, and hope you continue to enjoy it after release.
