[/quote]and the reason I didnt vote pikaguy is because I cant clearly see how well everything is pixelled, it could be a big blurry mess in game, or it could have some nice subpixel selout and antialiasing, but with jpeg fucking everything up, who knows?

You wouldn't be trying to use his screenshot to upload tiles, would you? No offense. Just that I see no reason why you wouldn't vote for someone clearly because it was JPG.

Taka M wouldn't steal tiles. The custom work on his site is amazing. The shot isn't exactly clear so you can't see all the... oh just read the post again.

I don't really care if anyone takes those tiles. My new subscreen is better than this one, so what people think about this subscreen doesn't matter anymore. That said, I got an account on ImageShack, since I was told to check it out. I haven't uploaded any pictures yet, seeing as I'm still working on the quest, though. Hopefully, my next pictures won't turn out so bad.

While Pikaguy's shot is good, there are some things that look plain old odd. For example, the blue walls with the broken pipes in them look odd without any border.

I tried layering the pipes, but the blue stuff is an actual color, not the transparent color, so I had to do it like that. Please ignore that. If I remember correctly, not only is that how Exate did it, it's also how Super Metroid did it. (I recognized the pipes as Super Metroid tiles a few days ago.)

Especially in the blue wall area. There's no grey pipe surronding the blue wall. Look at Exates rektorian in XL remake.

*screams head off* I never thought I'd win! At least, until yesterday. No one's been posting here, and the votes have been keeping constant numbers, so... It just seemed obvious. Thanks to all who told me how to improve the shot, though. And also, thanks to Deathbringer for mentioning my obvious mistake using the "pipes"...

Vote: *Daiv*. I didn't like any of the others. Well, I like them, they're good, but I didn't see and spectacular-ness in those. Even those Daiv's could use a little touching up-work, I liked that one the most. BTW, the cliffedge with the characters sitting on it is the best part. The comets/meteors/shooting stars are also neat.
