I always have trouble evening out enemy placement: There's either too many, which make it annoying to play, or not enough, which make the game boring . And now, I realized that in one of my areas it's kinda boring because of a lack of enemies . Anyone got a good idea, maybe a pattern to place enemies ?

I don't know why but placing enemies really causes a lot of trouble for me .

This doesn't exactly answer your question but I feel like it is important to sometimes limit the size of battle area in a room. You can use blocks or make an "island" in the middle of a room. It at least changes things up and good if you feel like you need a small amount of enemies in a room.

I hope that helps.

Thanks, that'll probably make it less monotonous :D

How are you using the placement flags at present? In general, fewer enemies, but more complex enemy combinations tend to be the most effective.

You're right . I just looked back on previous screens I made and saw that all of the screens that DO have enemies have one frustratingly hard enemy .
