Right now I'm just not feeling it when it comes to working on this tileset. I would appreciate any volunteers interested in taking over from me. PM me if you're interested.

Here's a public alpha of the tileset, I haven't touched this in months due to lack of motivation but I hope this early release makes up for it. Merry Christmas! (Click here to download)

This is a pretty great tileset. It seems fairly complete, too. Thanks for sharing! You should go ahead and submit it to the database.

Some notes:

Colors in this tileset are accurate to A Link to the Past and the palettes are way better organized than the old A Link to the Past tileset that's been around for 16 years. You want to use this tileset, not the old one. It's really that good.

Generally speaking, the A Link to the Past graphics have been expanded upon and there are a lot of new flourishes here and there to keep things interesting. It's seriously the best tileset of this kind to have come along in years.

Lots of tiles here and there backported from Four Swords Adventures, which is something I always wanted to do but couldn't be bothered to finish.

The dungeon palettes I contributed (found in their own folder for easy ripping) are sorted dark to light because that's how it worked in A Link to the Past. The included text file gives you a detailed breakdown of how this works, so if you have Hyrule Magic you can finish the job in your own time! But the quest file itself changed them so the colors go light to dark and it seems like the rearrangement isn't perfect sometimes, so there might be some tiles here and there that stop looking right when switching a screen's Level Palette. Not all of the palettes are in the quest yet either... If you want to use them but you don't have time to rearrange them, just grab them as-is and use the mass recoloring tool to fix the tiles.

Looks like a lot of effort went into turning all cave tiles into DoR-styled caves. (In A Link to the Past they're just interchangeable with dungeon walls.) Not my preferred choice, but It's very well done. Probably nobody will mind!

Many more tiles are available than have actually been given Combos yet, such as all the dungeon styles. Check 'em out.
