That way, when you start a new file, your quest will be loaded automatically, instead of the 1st.qst that comes with Zelda Classic.
Also, try changing the quest number to 2 and rename one of your quest, 2nd.qst
Then when you beat your 1st quest, the 2nd quest will be waiting. You can link mutliple quests together, I assume.
I think the same thing can be done with 3rd.qst
NOTE: Make sure you back up the original 1st 2nd and 3rd quest before doing this.

Normally, Combos are displayed in the Combo edit box like this:
1,,2,,3,,4,, ll 5,,6,,7,,8,,
Sorry for the really bad art, but if you were to have a 2 x 2 tree, the combos would be 1,2, and 5,6.
Now, occasionally, there has been another way of displaying Combos in the edit box I like much better. Using the same numbers above, it would look like this:
1,,2,,3,,4,, ll
5,,6,,7,,8,, ll
See with this second way how it is much easier to follow, as the entire tree would be visible as it really looks (1, 2, on top of 5, 6). My question is this: how do I get the Combo edit display to look like this? I must be hitting some unknown key. I just have to figure out which one. Thanks!
Yeah, and I know this isn't a technical trick I'm posting, but more like asking. I hope I'm not breaking any rules.

The thing FireStorm was talking about was that he was pushing Spacebar. I mention this because I think it the combo list looks a lot better this way.

It's a really neat trick, although it does require a download to work.

1: draw the main dungeon theme for one room (ie. walls, floors) and press C. then use the arrows to move to the nxt screen you wish a room to be, and press V. POW! you have just copied and pasted a room. this works just about anywhere in the editor to.
My favorite beta bug in 192 beta:
press S in the 1.92 1.83 beta player to have a LV-2 shield. this is the one that reflects energy beams to an extent.
Helpful hint:
In the editor,right click a placed combo to edit its features; ctrl-left click will summon it tpo the cursor.

tool bar.And when you tested your rooms or whatever you can only click ZQ icon in windows' tool bar,This is useful,when you use fullscreen mode like me.
Those straight dungeons,sometimes I made my caves,little like that,but then I put some puzzles or more enemies there.But in dungeons,I'm think that you are right.

Well, first of all, it's a pinned topic, so grave-digging does not apply.
The space bar thing... When you view your combo list (Quest->Graphics->Combos) you see the combos in a particular order, where they are arranged like:
17-18-19-20|21-22-23-24|25-26-27-28|29-30-31-32
33-34-35-36|37-38-39-40|41-42-43-44|45-46-47-48
49-50-51-52|53-54-55-56|57-58-59-60|61-62-63-64
etc.
where each ascending number corresponds to the screen constructor's combo list, reading left-to-right, top-to-bottom. The space bar makes it so it switches the rows with the columns, so it looks more like this:
05-06-07-08|21-22-23-24|37-38-39-40|53-54-55-56
09-10-11-12|25-26-27-28|41-42-43-44|57-58-59-60
13-14-15-16|29-30-31-32|45-46-47-48|61-62-63-64
etc.
Does it make any sense?

Maybe you know this, maybe you don't, for those who don't, in order for the custom "take anyone you want" to work you must turn on the hold item up screen flag on, if you don't you can take the other item and then take the special item.
If it WASN'T mensioned before, then you put a guy, and the special item, and any special item you want, then you put an item and have the hold item up thing on.
