But I don't want to upload it to the quest database because of rules conflicts. What's the next best way to release it?

Releasing it here on the forums is likely fine. I would just note whatever it is that keeps it from the database (obscene content? excessive violence?) so that people have a fair warning of what they're getting into. So long as it doesn't break the forum rules (read: Isn't a quest file full of porn images ripped into a ZQuest palette or a manifesto about how x group of people should be killed), it should be fine.

I am curious though, what rule conflicts? Aside from flat out porn or hate speech/inciting violence, we really don't have that many things that aren't allowed on the database.

Oh. Yes, that's totally fine. We don't host mp3s on the server space here, but many quests on the database simply link to a zip of the mp3/ogg music in the quest description. You're A-OK to host the quest itself on the database.

Aaron, this is a superb quest, very inventive and enjoyable.

I have finally become stuck trying to find Level 7.  I do not have the raft (if that's necessary at this point) but I think I've found most of the other items.

Any hints as to my direction?

Raft is in level 6.

Which is The Catacombs, to be specifular. The levels aren't clearly numbered.

Make sure to get the lens of truth from a cave in the snowy North overworld map. This will help you find the bomb walls, walk through walls, and bombable graves in Level 6 as well.

Thank you, I have the lens so it's back to the Catacombs hunting for rafts.

 

And, of course, I can't find the Catacombs now.

OK, so uh... I downloaded the quest along with the music and I have a question. Are the intro and The Magic Den supposed to be completely quiet?
