So I recently have gotten up to Level 6 of a quest, The Reverse Blade (courtesy of Radien for that title), that I've been working on for a bit, and after Level 6 comes the climax of the quest...so up to this point I considered a check point...would anyone like to test? Please? It's made with an updated classic set so it probably won't interest many...but still. You know you want to. Right now it has a fully functional 16x8 free to explore overworld, 2 explorable caves, and 6 abstract dungeons. Guaranteed that if you love Zelda I, you probably will love this quest. But that's just me.

Abstract in what way exactly? Gameplay, design, ect.

Also, what version/beta?

It's 2.5 b1008, but only because 2.10 doesn't work on my computer at the moment... oh and I was just going for a crazy adjective. Although half the dungeons are non-linear, too.

Well the power just went out so I need to double check on the quest since it was open...I'll toss a file soon enough.

Thanks. I'll PM it to you soon enough. I'm doing some quick changing here and there, so I'll upload and probably PM Silver again.

I actually lurked around your forum at the time when i first registered here and downloaded the reverse blade and stuff. But i'm guessing the version i have is real outdated huh?

Most likely. I've had to fix a lot of bugs and mishaps since then. Well hopefully one of you will let me know how it's going...because I kinda haven't gotten any reports back...not even of LEVEL-1.

Ah...that level confused me...what was I supposed to do after getting the whistle?

And it might help to turn off the cheats next time too icon_wink.gif .

You can use the whistle on the weird floor tiles south of the room with the stalfos and goriya...yeah, I am going to get better tiles for that...at the moment they do look like blocks.

Also, yeah, good idea. I was using cheats myself so I could go ahead and test certain parts of the quest on my own...

I love this quest. Like foreal. For a classic game. It is very well detailed and it uses the tileset to it's maximum use. The music is addicting and everytime i play the quest i actually "humm" the music. =p

Now, i gotten to level 4 using build 1030. Yea, yea i know i shouldn't, but I'm lazy and going to shardstorm.com to download an older build is quite a lot of work for me to do XD

Well i don't know if this is a bug or not, but in level 1 after i received the whistle, is that all i get? Because for some strange reason, i cannot find the last key!

But other than that, i havnt encountered any bugs....yet. icon_thumbsup.gif

Try bombing the north wall of the screen directly right of where you got the whistle. You should have an easy time against the boss, too. icon_razz.gif
