I don't believe that they changed between 2.10 and 2.50?
The classic level palettes have essentially been the same thing, all along. Level 1 is bluish, as is Level 2 (darker). IDK which blues and greens you want. Levels 3, 5 and 7 are green. 4 and 6 are gold, and 8 is grey.
The 'extended' palettes I believe, were used in 3rd and 4th.
The first few palettes are aligned to NES Zelda levels.
I don't have 2.10 set up anywhere to check, but you can always download 2.10.2 from zeldaclassic.com and try running it, to verify the palettes.

Press 8 and 9 repeatedly. Your problem is fixed.
