Basically, it mentioned that BoTW would probably come out in July, VC releases on switch will most likely have a small fee even if you already have it for previous systems, and Switch costing $300.

 

Switch tablet had a 3 hour battery life.

As long as you have a soft-modded 3DS, there's nothing stopping you from playing Mother 3 on the system natively, as the 3DS has a built-in GBA (sans card slot, it reads roms as if they're carts, not emulated).

Oh yeah, I'm well aware. I've had a DS flash cart that works on the 3DS for ages and played Mother 3 multiple times. But it's different from an official release, which would actually bring public recognition to it and makes more people interested in the series. It's one of my favorite games, and I'd love to see it get a proper, official localization.

And just as a side note, as far as I can tell, soft-modding a 3DS is basically impossible on the newest system update, at least until a new exploit's found.

VC is such a clusterf*uk.  Licencing issues have held them back more that I understand.  I don't get why not every single one of their first party titles are available on the VC.  It just doesn't make sense to me.

This I agree with. I understand they need to license third-party games, but there's no excuse not to put all of their own games up there and actually give us some variety.

Nintendo being Nintendo will probably release this at $300 with full price games to boot. Releasing a handheld with $50 games is suicide in the current market so this will all rest on how they market it as a dual function console.

Considering how they marketed the Wii U I'm not exactly optimistic.

A bunch of licensed Switch products have had their documents leaked. There's stuff like screen protectors, third-party controllers, Joy-Con chargers, skins, etc. Also A CAR CHARGER THIS IS PERFECT FOR MOST PEOPLE.

If they didn't have a car charger, I'd really have to take a step back, and rationally ask myself why I'm such a rabid fanboy.

 

My car actually has a regular AC outlet (but it is only 115v instead of the usual 120) as well as a cigarette lighter thingy.
