Level 4 is in the Inuzuka Mountain area. You have to go through a maze to find it. The moblin in the cave in the maze tells you how to get through the maze.

Yeah I know I just completed LV3 but just got a bomb upgrade. If that's it I'll look for LV4

The wallet upgrade is in Level-3. A 2-Headed Gleeok in the room north of where you had to either pay with your money or your life guards it. Push the southern blocks to make a staircase appear.

I like the "figure it out on your own" approch (no story). Not many good quests like that

Unfortunately, I have completely forgotten where I found the short bow the first time.

The short bow is in Level-1. Bomb the east wall where you fought some Goriyas. The room is one screen south of the boss' chamber.
