In Link's Awakening, several dungeons have a unique key that you have to acquire in order to open the dungeon entrance. Rather than getting any ordinary key, you have to get the "face shrine key" to open the lock to the face shrine dungeon.

Is there a way (available script?) that will allow me to create a special "key" item that can be used to open special "lock" tiles, making the lock tile unique to they key rather than a generic key item?

There's this one.

To use it more effectively you'll need to make a combo with a locked door or block tiles, a warp tile combo with the same tiles of the previous, then another combo that does absolutely nothing (all of them need to be a solid combo), then you need to put a secret flag 16 to 31 both in the locked door or block, and in the locked entrance if you didn't already done that, then after that it is important that you copy and paste the dungeon entrance screen and doing so i recommend you to do a fake map, and a fake Dmap that will be specifically for the cutscene should you choose to add one. I also recommends you to use the Button Disable script, and add sound, and ffc for the cutscene screens. Now in the complicated part is that, in the cutscene you need to reveal the dungeon entrance bit per bit to make it exactly like LA or Oracle type of cutscene when you unlock dungeons entrances and you need to make sure the player is unable to do anything during cutscenes.

To use the wrap more effectively i recommends you to use the Auto Warp and make sure to set the Auto Warp as a "Direct Warp". The secret flag i spooke early will serve to immediately turn the Auto Warp combo type into the normal solid combo so you won't be locked in a cutscene loop over and over after the said cutscene so i recommend you to put a secret step combo type and carry over secret to the desired map and screen. Just to make absolutely sure it work correctly.

In 2.55, you can just edit a lockblock combo and set it to use an item instead of a key.
