I have used Google again and again, but I have yet to turn up a site that offers original "OST" style vg mp3s... Any site will do (preferable one geared more towards NES/ SNES) with the exception of fan made ones...

No fan made ones! I want originals!

EDIT: No MIDIs either... They suck for the most part because they are fan made...

Whether a fan version of a song sucks or not really depends on the skill of the person who did make insert-version-here. People doing their own copies of songs are usually better suited to doing remixes rather than copy the song in question, since they're bound to make some mistakes somewhere along the line (which is most likely your point with that edit you threw into your post).

As far as your request goes, I did my own quick search, and this was among the first of my results:

There aren't too many games listed there, and what games are there are mostly PSone or later, but I picked out some of the available songs from games I've played or seen played in order to to confirm if this is the real deal, and it is.
Most of the other results in my search didn't look too promising even from the search results page, so that one I have mentioned is really the only one I checked out.

I've been to Blue Laguna, and I got most of my FF7 songs from there...

I'll make a list of the sites I've already been to:

- OCRemix (These are the best of the best fan made remixes, and I'm fully loaded so I need originals now)
- A few places that require a Gamespy Id (I don'ty do GameSy becasue they try to sell you crap, an d they make you subscribe to these stupid magazines, so screw them)
- VG Mp3 (Currently down and out)

Um ... You guys do realize that a thread like this is against the rules, right? ... ... Yeah, yeah, I know, ... you wouldn't have thought something so innocent like this would hurt. But unfortunately, it really does. I got warned for doing this back on AGN a few years ago out of sheer ignorance. I thought I was sharing. XD Doesn't quite work like that. So, uh, ... thanks for the assistance, Espilan, it's appreciated, but not for something like this.

A. ROMs/Pornography/other copyright material/etc.
There's two things you can do to break this rule: you can either post a link to said stuff, or you can ask for it. If you ask for it, your topic will be closed and you will be warned. If you actually post a link to it, the link will be edited out and you'll be warned, and if you posted a topic about the site, you'll probably have your topic closed as well. Illegal material can get us shutdown, so breaking this rule is considered one of the more serious offenses.

Everything has been edited, we've all learned a little something, ... Topic Closed.
