Fonts with éèà ç....

its possible to have the advance ascii character for the latin language like French 

 

all the base fonts doesnt have it

Annoyingly, most fonts actually do contain extended characters like those; there's just no way to enter them.

Probably the easiest way to fix it would be to allow string control codes up to 255 as text characters, the same way 32-126 are handled. That range is set at the end of parse_msg_str in zq_strings.cpp. I don't know if just changing the number there would be enough or not.

ZScript should be able to enter any 8-bit value as a character using the `\xFF` control code, with the appropriate hex value, as of 2.55. As for internal and SCC stuff, that'd be a question for Zoria; and this should probably be moved to Feature Requests
