Work in progress
For test play and making, .qst Unpassworded (Part 1) 
Version 2.55
Firebird Tileset
1st quest Tloz
 
Currently :
- Z3 scrolling
- Candle
- Sword
- Secrets by bomb, candle (if flag 4, 6) Uses a default combo if blank secret combo 
- Cave/Item cellar (if set)
- Map
- Inventory
 
Layers :
- Layer 0 : Water (reflect), Flags
- Layer 1-2 : Ground
- Layer 3-4 : Solid, Stair and cave combo
- Layer 5 : Weather
- Layer 6 : Transparent Weather

Does this have any support for enemy or weapon drawing? Because usually those are the biggest hurdles to deal with in this engine from what I'm told.

This is really impressive.  I've seen a few Z3 scrolling scripts come and go but the enemy/dungeon mechanics being proven out is something I haven't seen any of those attempts actually get right.

I'll need to re-test. I hope that you've managed to solve all of my prior bug reports. ;)

 

Is this replacing the version with the Classic tileset?

 

 

Does this have any support for enemy or weapon drawing? Because usually those are the biggest hurdles to deal with in this engine from what I'm told.

 

 

Even my limited scrolling engine for RPGs supports that; as does my variant for Z1 Koten as a scrolling env. The new rules that allow moving things offscreen without killing them, are a critical element: I added them especially for this, so that enemies could scroll offscreen and stay alive (and moving, potentially moving back into frame).

It's already fixed and posted. It's not the same script of the classic version.
