I don't recall which tile now...and while I can screen capture...I don't deal with file hosts anymore since Photobucket abandoned free mode. I'm not active enough on the forums to justify a file host again. I'm active on DIscord...but I haven't found you or a server attached to this quest or its predecessors yet...if one even exists.
I found the plant core I was missing. Now a general question about the level up system. Does it matter 'which' elemental coins you manage to collect? Or are the bonuses simply determined by how many coins total you find...?

The bonuses vary by character, but are consistent for each, based on how many total coins you've collected. (Although Autimecia has randomized bonuses.)
Also, I'm delighted to hear of someone else enjoying Sub-Terrania. It's not a game that seems to get much love, but I adore the atmosphere and its incredible music. I'm planning to use more of its music in a future project.

The game was a random gift to me from my parents during Xmas one year when I was kid. While its not my typical genre....I really enjoyed the gameplay and music. Its definitely a hidden gem. I think I still have the cartridge...but no console to play it. Oh well....where there's a will, there's a way.
I'm glad I gave this quest a go. Hitodama was a bit of a hit or miss with me. Never attempted Yuurei. But as I got more into this...and figured out more and more about the gameplay and how to get the secrets....it got better and better. I also like how its a got a built in randomizer. Funny you mentioned Autimecia....that's actually the character I'm using. XD

Posted an update that fixes a bug that was occurring with a key cutscene in most of the older stories. It fixes a handful of minor bugs as well.
This one is safe to update in the middle of a run, so I'd recommend doing so as soon as possible.
