Does anyone know any good music editors? Probably to work both on midis and MP3s. I don't really know much about this but am thinking I might want to start writing music for games. Any help or a good place to start would be appreciated.

For MIDI, Anvil Studio is good and, more importantly, free.

For free software, Anvil Studio for midis, and Audacity for mp3's.

Otherwise, I use FL Studio.  Only annoying thing for midis in FL Studio, it doesn't handle pitch bending in midi CC very well.  Otherwise, it's an excellent DAW.
