Seizure warning on the video btw.
Recent builds seem to have enabled viewing csets 12-15 which are usually reserved for system stuff in the tile editor. While this is a somewhat buggy looking behavior I actually think it has some merit as a feature for people like me who use the classic set (normally seeing which tiles have transparency requires editing palettes) and also for people making custom ZQuest themes. So I just thought I'd document some other related oddities here:
- You can edit tiles as normal in these csets, not just preview how they look
- When in the tile editing menu, cycling backwards (-) through extra csets works properly but cycling forward (+) past 11 takes you back to 0.
- Selecting the first three colors in CSet 13 (used for the current selected colors) while in the tile editing menu causes the whole thing to flash violently
- I had one ZQuest crash while messing around with extra csets that I haven't been able to recreate. It might have just been the one caused by leaving the program idling, but it happened when I was cycling from cset 15 back to 14, right as I pressed the minus key.
This is pretty cool but I feel should be some kind of optional setting, as the extra csets will definitely confuse new users
